Ignore Settle
Key Ignore Settle in Model[Bond] refers to an optional boolean that controls whether the bond's settlement defined in Settle_Days and the ex coupon period defined in Ex_Coupon_Prd should be considered when the NPV is calculated by means of the Price function.
The default is TRUE, whereby the bond is treated as if it had been settled immediately on the given valuation date Tˢ, so that the NPV references all coupons being paid strictly after Tˢ and falling beyond the applicable ex coupon period.
When FALSE, the NPV as of Tˢ is calculated under the assumption the bond settles at Tˢ + n, where n is the number of business days defined in Settle_Days, which means that only coupons being paid after Tˢ + n and falling beyond the applicable ex coupon period are considered.
Note the settlement is always considered by most other bond-related functions, such as the Dirty Price or Yield
Note:
In the presence of a positive settlement, the FALSE setting is incompatible with several pricing calculations in the context of an Advanced Pricing
In the latter case, the pricing can be made to refer to the settlement date by explicitly setting the As Of to the bond's settlement date.
